In the Sapphire Alliance we recognise that the Xray image processing system is a powerful and sophisticated tool, that is capable of very much more that the functions of basic contamination detection. We have designed in a capability to provide additional inspection functions that can be quickly and reliably implemented. This section contains descriptions of the special function library.

The special functions are implemented by means of DLL files. This is described in white paper CDD 110041. The range of special functions includes zone inspection, jar inspection, product counting, premium inspection and many others.
